ABOUT OUR COLORADO JUNIOR FOUNDATION
Formally we are the Colorado Junior Handler Educational Foundation (that's a mouthful, so our dba is Colorado Junior Foundation)
Our mission, in a nut shell, is to support & educate Junior Dog Handlers!
OUR OBJECTIVES
(a) To organize Licensed Colorado AKC Dog Clubs, and Dog Show and Dog Sport Enthusiasts;
(b) To coordinate and hold Colorado Junior Showmanship Events, Seminars, etc. for AKC authorized Dogs, along with other Junior and Public Educational Events focused to support the sport of dogs;
(c) To help Develop Skills of and help provide Programs for Colorado Junior Dog Handlers;
(d) To Raise Funds for Educational Scholarships for Colorado Junior Dog Handlers;
(e) To encourage, mentor and support Juniors regarding Responsible Purebred Dog Breeding;
(f) To facilitate Colorado AKC Dog Clubs to work together to support juniors and the sport of dogs;
(g) To participate with the AKC and follow AKC general rules and their code of sportsmanship.
